Dear friends,

For the past ten years - and with increasing urgency over the past two - God has deeply burdened my heart for this nation. That burden has now culminated in a book titled Battle for Britain: Enthroning Christ as King, which is scheduled to go to print within a month.

Up to this point I have personally funded and carried this project, while God has graciously brought experienced and gifted helpers alongside to help shape and strengthen the work. We are now entering the final stage before release, and there are several important elements still to complete.

These include professional formatting, printing costs, preparing the book for Kindle, producing an audiobook version, and undertaking a short three-day film project. During this filming we plan to record extracts and readings from key chapters at historic revival sites across London, interview prominent church leaders, and document the next Unite the Kingdom march in order to capture the voice and convictions emerging from the streets. From this material we will produce inspirational and equipping video content for the church and the punter on the street to share widely across social media. In time, we also envision developing further teaching resources connected to the message of the book.

We estimate that these final stages will require approximately £3,000 in upfront costs. If you feel stirred to support this work, we would be deeply grateful for your help. WHO THIS BOOK IS FOR

⁠Are you ready to stop being a nice Christian and start being a bold one?

For nearly seventeen centuries the Christian faith has shaped Britain’s constitutional order, cultural imagination, and public life. Yet today the nation stands at a civilisational crossroads. The moral and spiritual foundations that once shaped Britain are being displaced as rival worldviews compete to define the nation’s future.

In the Book of Acts the early apostles were accused of “turning the world upside down,” proclaiming a message that challenged the claims of empire itself: there is another king — Jesus. If Christ is truly King of kings and Lord of lords, and if the Church has been commissioned to pray and advance His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, what does it mean to enthrone Christ in the life of a nation?

Battle for Britain confronts this question head-on. It diagnoses the cultural and spiritual crisis of our moment, exposes the myth of religious neutrality in public life, and calls the Church to recover the full scope of the gospel of the Kingdom, charting a true course between two ditches: the candy floss self-serving faith that heralds peace at all costs, and the equally self-serving subjugation of Christianity to a nationalistic agenda devoid of true worship. Every society is shaped by worship. All politics are religious. All education is religious. All culture is religious. There is no neutrality. Christians must evangelize or be evangelized, politicize or be politicized, occupy or be occupied. The question is not whether Britain will be shaped by faith, but which faith will shape it.

This book calls the Church to faithful action — to repentance, return to first love, the fear of God, true identity, to proclaim Christ’s lordship over every sphere of life and to reimagine what it would mean to see Britain once again transformed by the reign of King Jesus.

About the Author

DOMINIC MUIR

Dominic has been a Christian for over twenty-four years and has served in various expressions of full-time ministry for more than two decades. He has spoken at churches and events across the UK and internationally, authored three books, and pioneered national gospel initiatives, events, and discipleship schools that have impacted thousands.

For seven years, Dominic led a street church in the red light district of London, ministering on the streets and demonstrating his conviction that the Gospel belongs everywhere. He carries an apostolic pioneering call as an evangelist, teacher, and revivalist, with a particular passion for street ministry and equipping believers to walk in the priesthood of all believers.

Dominic leads Now Believe charity, “I Am So Many Things” (Identity mission and business) alongside his wife, Bread Café Church in Yeovil, is founder of the men’s movement Fathers Arise, and founder of David’s Tent. He holds a first-class degree from Newcastle University.

He is happily married to Thea, and together they have five precious children. Dominic enjoys classic films and swimming in the sea, and carries a burning desire to see the nation bow the knee to Jesus Christ once again.
