KING’S ARMY TRAINING
-
Evangelist Scott McNamara (in partnership with Ev. Nathan Morris) with Jonathan Oloyede and Dominic Muir are excited to invite church leaders from across London and the UK to this historic London venue to cast vision for the Battle for Britain, a dream God has laid upon Scott and Nathan's heart this past 2 years.
Principally this taster day for leaders is to whet the appretite for an upcoming King's Army Boot Camp Training the weekend of March 8th, which will lead on to the main London Evangelistic event with large crusade, on Saturday 12th April.
We believe that this "three pronged attack" of equipping and reaping gatherings will catalyse a desperately needed nationwide mobilsation of the church to Battle for Britain, starting with London (all 33 boroughs).
Our desire is to find those who feel the Holy Spirit on this vision and wish to lock arms as we seek to make disciples and raise soldiers for Christ across all denominations, races and tongues of the UK church.
BATTLE FOR BRITAIN IS NOT JUST A SERIES OF EVENTS, THOUGH IT SHALL COMPRISE IMPORTANT GATHERINGS; IT IS ABOUT RAISING UP A GRASS ROOTS MOVEMENT AND CULTURE COMPRISING ALL BELIEVERS - AN EVANGELISTIC ARMY, UNIFIED UNDER THE BANNER OF KING JESUS, TO ADVANCE THE GOSPEL, PUSH BACK DARKNESS, PLUNDER HELL AND POPULATE HEAVEN.

ENLIST TODAY!
what are we fighting for?
1. souls to soldiers
Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. - Col 1:28
We are fighting for the lost souls of Britain, the decaying soul of Britain and the maturation of God’s holy church. For every lost soul to become a soldier for Christ.
2. the king’s army
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. - 2 Tim 2:3-4
We are fighting to awaken the sleeping giant: for a holy, spotless Bride. We are fighting for the readiness of the Bride of Christ, the maturation of the army of the Lord, obedient to her commissioning Officer King Jesus, willing to endure hardship and suffering for His name’s sake.
3. Righteousness and Justice in our land
He loves righteousness and justice - Psalm 33:5
We are fighting for righteousness and justice which are the foundations of His throne (Psalm 89:14). We are fighting for righteous government, righteous leadership, righteous business, righteous education and righteous, covenantal, family life. We are fighting for justice for the poor, the unborn, the marginalised and to destroy every work of the devil (1 John 3:8).
4. Freedom in our land
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then - Galatians 5:1
We are fighting for biblical freedom. Jesus came to bring freedom; spiritual freedom beyond circumstance but also freedom into circumstance. The freedom of heaven invading a bound, enslaved and enslaving earth. Free speech in a nation, in her streets, her education system and political world. Freedom of parenting, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, freedom to gather, freedom to pray however and wherever. Free speech is the bedrock of democracy, all political freedom and was paid for in Britain with the blood of the martyrs and the soldiers in two world wars. May we not despise that sacrifice with our cowardice, gnosticism, subconscious statism (government is god) or poisonous pietism (everything is private, no public Christianity).
5. the Britain that God wants
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations… teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you - Matt 28
The church is called as a kingdom of priests, a shepherd, a father to the fatherless, to bear the image of God and to institute the will of God. We are fighting for God’s original design and ordination for Britain and her people: to be a father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, a family-maker (Psalm 68:6-8). We are fighting for Christ to be Lord over our nation, exalted and central.
We are fighting for the recovery of the Britain whose church once helped free the western world from religious and political tyranny, founded western democracy, founded the western education system (which though imperfect has given everyone a chance to read, write and think freely), founded the hospital system as we know it, established the sanctity of life, founded modern science and medicine, was at the root of the Renaissance, even formed the start of the English football league!
We are fighting for the Britain whose church missioned and colonised the dark, demonic, heathen world more than any other with light, truth and salvation, the Britain drenched with the blood of the faithful martyrs, whose relative political and social liberty gained we have enjoyed and prospered under for hundreds of years and which we are in present danger of losing completely.
(N.B. The church of Jesus is not in a racial, ethnic, religious (as many would perceive that word) or nationalistic battle - we are involved in a spiritual battle for the purposes of God and the Lordship of Jesus over people, the nation of Britain and nations. Furthermore, here is a resource for those with questions concerning whether ‘Love of Country is Biblical’)
“While women weep, as they do now, I'll fight. While little children go hungry, as they do now, I'll fight. While men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now, I'll fight. While there is a drunkard left, While there is a poor lost girl upon the streets, While there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I'll fight-I'll fight to the very end!”
―William Booth
How do we fight?
1. the whole church: unity and love
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! For there the Lord commanded the blessing - Psalm 133
We fight through establishing unity and love in the remnant bride of Christ: across every denomination, colour, tongue and stream. Not token unity, proper skin-in-the-game, agape-love, servant-hearted, costly unity and partnership which militates against names, titles, egos, territorialism and ministry brands. An army divided is easy to deal with, whereas the King’s army united, moving in step with our Commander King Jesus is unstoppable. The gates of hell cannot prevail against her. What’s more The blessing will be commanded (Psalm 133) and the world will see true disciples of Jesus. (John 13:35)
2. the holy church: soldier discipleship
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty. - 2 Cor 6:16-18
We fight by becoming a holy people, set apart, who fear God and carry a cross. We must return to the whole counsel of God, the word of God without compromise, both His kindness and His severity, both heaven and hell, the Spirit of God without measure, the mission of God without boundaries, discipleship without limits.
3. the full gospel & Great commission
Preach on the housetops. And do not fear - Matt 10:27-28
We fight through prayer and with the preaching of the simple gospel: the blood of Jesus is enough. The blood speaks a better word every day of the week. We fight by fulfilling the Great Commission as the army of the Lord. Our weapons are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds and arguments which exalt themselves above the knowledge of God (2 Cor 10:3-5): unceasing prayer and bold proclamation of the original gospel, every place. An army of intercessors. An army of bold, sacrificial, evangelists raised up and thrust out to share and preach the whole undiluted gospel in the highways, byways, schools, universities, villages, towns, cities - everywhere. Amen.
